Upcoming Events

Fall is so beautiful and fleeting, that we can't help but try to pack as much fun in as possible! We have officially hit that prime time of beautiful weather, family activities, community activities, school activities, etc. Here are some upcoming events to be aware of! October 23rd: Early Release October 23rd: Haunted Hallways at Lexington High School (Community Trick-or-Treat from 5:30-7 pm) October 24th: EDWINA BROWNELL DAY (Please wear pink and any crazy or fun hat. We are asking for $2 to participate. All donations will go to Edwina and her family. October 30th: Picture Retakes November 1st: Halloween Dance after school November 8th: End of 2nd six-week grading period In addition, winter sports and clubs are starting. There are a ton of family friendly outdoor activities happening, local art/theater events, trick-or-treat, and more. Get out there and have some fun!

1st Six-Week Newsletter

LEXINGTON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 st Six-Week Newsletter Congratulations! You made it through the first grading period! Each six weeks you can expect a grade card and newsletter to come home approximately one week after the end of the grading period. Below you will find some general information about the Junior High. Be sure to also check the back for detailed info on each teacher! Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.  GRADES REQUIREMENTS TO PASS ANY COURSE: (Can also be found on page 8 and 9 of the student handbook). To pass any full year course: 1)       At least five (5) points must be earned for the entire year, and 2)       Pass two of the three second semester grading periods.        To pass any semester course:                                 A passing grade must be earned in at least two of the three marking periods.         Points are earned using the following scale:                                 A = 4 points         B
