I have heard Norman speak and attended his workshops at multiple conferences. He is a wonderful resource, and located in Columbus! I just received information about a parenting workshop coming up. I would encourage everyone to take a look at this! He is excellent and you will not regret it. Here is the information!

Parenting From Your Heart Workshop

Come and Learn How to Be the Best Parent You Can Be
 

Building successful families and being a great parent takes more than just learning intellectual concepts and ideas. In Parenting From Your Heart, you will deepen your abilities as a parent through experiential learning, sharing and exploring how to apply and integrate skills into your parenting and family life.

Our next workshop will be held on Tuesdays, October 18, 25 and November 1, from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Attendees will learn something new during each session of this three-part workshop. The cost includes all three days (see fees below).

Workshop topics include:
Raising your child’s self-esteem
Improving the efficacy of your parenting skills
Effectively parenting together with your partner
Dealing with conflict within your family
Leading your family

Parents will discover how to help their child learn and grow by avoiding shame, blame and fear.
Clinicians who provide counseling services to couples and individuals struggling with parenting will gain insights to deepen their work.

Continuing Education Credits: 4.5 (1.5 per session)

This workshop is presented by Norman Shub, LPCC-S, LISW-S, BCD, Clinical Director alongside child therapist Margie Mapes LISW-S, RPT-S, who brings the “voice of the child” alive to provide the child’s perspective.

Total cost: $70 per individual or $125 per couple
